This debacle illustrates everything the non-US world hates about America. And in so doing, Ms Wenge (who surely must qualify for opt ranking on Wankr.com) has reinforced the cynics who would say the 'open' nature of current social computing is nothing other than a marketing sham.

I agree, Dennis. And Chris, I think that's a terrific idea -- I hope Tim decides to do something like that. He seems like a standup guy, so let's keep our fingers crossed.
