  • Interesting. I remember buying one of the very first Mini Cooper S models in Canada, back in 2002, and I'm sure the dealership said something about them having a first right of refusal to buy it back. At the time I thought it was ridiculous, but I really wanted the car so I let it slide.
  • This first-sale doctrine sounds interesting. I have read a report about this, too; and I'm wondering if this will push through. If buyers would be required to sell the handsets back to Motorola if they don’t want them any more, then that's good. At least the buyer can save time putting the item for auction in ebay.
