  • The PR people don't "get" that big-time bloggers consider the problem of taking bribes to be completely solved by saying "I've taken a bribe" 1/2 :-).
  • Isn't it though? I mean, if a blogger says he's taken a bribe, then aren't you free to think whatever you want about his or her objectivity?
  • Back in the FON advistory board overall discussion, there was a good point about how a conflict of interest doesn't go away because you disclose the conflict. Disclosure is important. But it's hardly the end of the story. It's a bit like money in politics (disclosure matters, but there's a lot more which matters too).
