    I'd love to know what kind of regulations these writers cum bloggers have, if any.

    I wonder, for example, if there are any guidelines towards writing cheap link baiting posts to garner traffic (Apple is stupid! The hottest girls in Tech! Microsoft is Dead! -- oh, wait ...)

    Yeah, I wonder the same thing, Tony. Thank God John Dvorak doesn't get paid on the same basis, or he'd be a multi-millionaire :-)

    I wonder whether more magazines and newspapers will have to pay their reporters to blog - and blog well. After all, everyone needs a carrot, right?
