Knol may damage Mahalo in the "free" space but not in the paid space. If you create articles inside the greenhouse, the payment is direct and not based on clicks on google adsense ads.
Now if my prediction from last year is true, mahalo will move more and more to free and less and less to paid - when that percentage shifts far enough, then your post title will be much more of a possibility.
