  • Fair use, as a “concept,” exists in the minds of many people. It exists legally solely in the United States.
  • That's true, Joe -- although "fair dealing," which exists legally in Canada and many other countries, is fundamentally the same thing, although it is somewhat more restrictive than the U.S. version.
