D Steele · 1 year agoI strongly believe that any business who thinks that they are going to cruise to riches with traditional 'old folks' advertising to the ageing baby boomers is doomed. I was born in 1946, so I'm on the leading edge. What products have I looked at recently? The new VW crossover SUV; light weight tents; computer programming books at Amazon; memory upgrades for my new Macbook. What, no incontinence products? Sorry. I just turn off completely when I see 'Senior', 'Elder', etc etc in any advertising.
