I agree that it doesn't seem likely that REALLY valuable tips and hints would get submitted to Wikinvest, for precisely the reasons that you've described.

On the other hand, look how many blogs out there are in the "make money online" niche, giving out hints, tips, and advice. I have a feeling that at least one person won't be able to keep themself from bragging about their success.
