Yeah, I couldn't believe this story when I read it on TechCrunch... is this what happens when startups try to get too 'corporatized' and listen to board strategy instead of follow the wisdom of the founders? I think that boards should leave the fundamental business direction to the troops on the ground -- in the limited format of a board meeting, how in the world can they possibly understand either the technology involved or the exploitable business need?
