Search the name “Thomas Stolperer” in Facebook, the main character, read the novel as far back as you want (it’s backwards, of course), and link to his FB friends that he corresponds with, they're also characters in the novel - all privacy settings for all characters are open so it's not necessary to befriend the characters, but you can if you want.
