  • troublemaker :)

    ans kissass :)
  • Why is this a binary choice? It's all true.
  • The political world has Sarah Palin and the tech world has...Jason Calacanis.

Oh, please, just shoot me now.
  • wow, that was snarky and utterly rude. why are you making it personl? calcanis is right about the coming shakeout. others have warned of it as well. before this is over, the web 2.0 ecosystem will be devastated.
  • access or assess .. .. .. deepak, tony, jason .. .. .. hmm .. .. .. guess that means a book is up next
  • Mahalo will be the first company to shut down at the first sign of the depression. This is Calcansis's exit-excuse. Poor me, the depression ate my startup! Wahhh.
  • I just think Calacanis is an arrogant a-hole.

That said, I really do enjoy his appearances on TWiT, but I still think he's a total ass.
  • was this blog hacked?
  • Not sure what you mean, Allen
  • Let's see - someone that recommends you fire a person who's good at their job? And who would have you hold back on your financial commitments to your leasers and insurers (so basically putting more companies at risk of financial ruin)?

I'm surprised there's even a choice in the answer.

And for someone to only want to hear positive things said about him or nothing at all... doesn't that seem a bit egotistical?
  • Diminutive? DIMINUTIVE?

    ROFL.
  • I assume Calacanis wanted the content taken down because he wants to preserve the exclusivity of his email subscription list.
  • If that was the case he would have asked for them to be taken down when he realized they were first up.

They only came down when he realized that instead of his ego being stroked further, he was reading the truth about his views as opposed to the ones he wanted to hear.
  • I'm no business whiz but don't most start ups fail? Why are Web2.0 outfits any different, this is just digital snake oil.
