  • That is one thing I will say for the Globe and that it is one of the few newspaper organizations that I think really gets the web and how to integrate it with their print versions. Are they successfull all the time - no they still don't get full RSS feeds :) but they aren't alone in that.

    The organization deserves full kudos for the Breakdown series.

    as I keep reminding whoever I can -- but there are some things we are
    starting to get the hang of :-)

    Nope, it's an example of how only intelligent, thoughtful people can do this kind of long-form journalism. The web is, as you say, an incredibly powerful medium, but so many of us have fallen into the logical fallacy of believing that because some journalists don't get it, the best reporting must now come from amateurs.
